It’s also our big yearly chance to meet up with our Roller friends from all over Australia – in the one place!

This year we’re heading back to the Red Centre in August 2022, for our annual 7 night Rolling Solo® Member get together.

We have a great week planned at our destination packed with activities, skill sharing sessions, fun workshops, tours, outings and experiences that will never be forgotten. Not to mention all the new friends you’ll make.

West Macs Campout (Pre Event) 19-24 August 2022

Staying in Alice before coming out to Ross River for our 7 night event?  Get out of the hustle & bustle in Alice and spend a few nights with other Rollers at our exclusive pre event campout.  Close enough to town to do some sight seeing and far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet..

We’ll all depart on the morning of the 24th and make our way together to Stuck In The Middle in the East Macs.  Once you have your Stuck In The Middle ticket, you can put your name down for this pitstop and we’ll send you the details.

Henley On Todd 20th August 2022

We’re going to get a Rolling On the River Team together and enter the Henley on Todd Event.

The Rotary Henley on Todd Regatta is a fun, quirky and eclectic ‘boat’ race held each year on the dry sandy bed of the Todd River in Alice Springs, Australia – it’s the only dry river boating Regatta in the world.

Regatta attendees compete in ‘boat’ races in the style of the Flintstones: holding a lightweight boat frame and running around the buoy and back to the finish line. The finale of the day is known as the Battle of the boats.

Tagalong Adventure to Uluru (after Stuck In The Middle)

If you didn’t come this far to only go this far then join us on a roadtrip down to Uluru for a few nights after our event.  We’ve reserved a large number of powered sites just for our group of intrepid Rollers so we can camp and enjoy Uluru together.  This tagalong is optional.

Once you have your ticket to Stuck In The Middle we’ll let you know all the details of this adventure down to Uluru.  Numbers are limited on this journey so get your Stuck ticket soon to join this expedition.

Cabins

7 Nights Own Cabin

Ross river Cabins provide a authentic outback experience for those not equipped to camp or would prefer to glamp it up for the week “rustic Red Centre” Style.  Enjoy the convenience of your own cabin with bathroom, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities.  Each cabin has a different bed configuration.  So if you’d like to share with your Roller friends then pick one that suits.
These rustic cabins have an authentic outback feel no glamping here!

Step outside the door and see a million stars at night, during the day an abundance of critters and of course red dust, after all it wouldn’t be the outback without it.

Cabins are booked for the 7 day event duration.  Each cabin sale includes ONE event ticket, so if you’re planning to share with other members they will need to get in touch and organise a Companion Ticket.

All free activities and entertainment for 7 nights is included in your Event Ticket.

From: $1,565.00

Bunkhouse

Did you ever go to a school camps and you all camped in a dorm?  Well these aren’t like those…so don’t panic.

In fact now we’re all grown up and need our “me” time you can get a bunkhouse all to yourself.

There are 12 bunkhouse rooms located in the main campground area.  They have 2 sets of bunks in them, but now you’re a big girl you don’t have to share if you don’t want to.

Amenities are located a short skip away, with plenty of toilets and showers.  The bunkhouses do not have their own cooking facilities or fridge so you can chow down up in the homestead or bring an esky to keep your basics cool in your room and cook your food on the campground bbq.

This is a great economy option if you still want to be amongst the camping action but don’t have your abode yet..or the time to do the roadtrip and need to fly in.

new friends are

“a given”

You’ll know pretty much as soon as you meet us we are “your people”.

So many lovely women from all over Australia from different ages, backgrounds, walks of life and life experience…yet somehow there’s that one thing that connects us. We seem to have a fire our belly to get out to see & experience all life has to offer and grab it by the short and curlies with the time we have left.

And we always have so much fun!
