What is Rolling Solo?

Rolling Solo Australia is an Australian Women’s online, offline & real time community that provides support, friendships, information and connections for independent female roadtrippers interested in camping, outdoor adventure & travel in Australia.

Events, Social Catchup’s, Tagalong Trips & get together’s for members are the core of our existence.

We are a “sisterhood of the travelling vans” !

Members connect online via our own community app then organise events, social get togethers, camps, tagalong road trips and chit chat about all things camping, travel, life and adventures.

We’ve been around since 2015 and have thousands of members all over Australia.

What is your Stuck In the Middle Event all about?

Our annual Stuck In the Middle® get-together started in 2017 as a big girls weekend that turned into an annual week long gathering of like-minded travelling women aka Rolling Solo® members.

It’s a time for us Rolling Solo® gal’s to leave the domestic responsibilities of life behind for a week to relax, be ourselves, laugh, dance, camp, glamp, learn new things, see new places, travel across the countryside together in a tagalong, make new friends and have some fun.

It’s also our big yearly chance to meet up with our Roller friends from all over Australia – in the one place!  This is our 7th Stuck In The Middle Event… not our first rodeo!

What is the general age of Event Guests

Our youngest attendee has been 23 and our oldest has been 82.  The general age  of Rollers that come along to our annual event is somewhere stuck in the middle.

Do i need a motorhome or campervan to come

You don’t have to have a campervan, caravan, motorhome to join us at our Stuck In The Middle event.  Our annual events are always located where there is onsite accommodation available for the ladies not set up yet to camp just yet,  live far away or don’t have the time (FIFO).. so you can still get involved, make new friends and have fun, even if you’re not “camping”.

Can I Stay elsewhere

We don’t have day passes for our Stuck In The Middle event.  It’s an “all in” event. At previous events where members lived a few streets away and still camped with us for the week.  It’s about the onsite insider fun, connection and being a part of it.  To be at Stuck in the Middle you need to be Stuck with us for the week.

Can I have visitors

Outside visitors that do not have a accommdoation booked at our event are not permitted on site.  You’re more than welcome to meet them outside the event for a catchup!

Can I Bring my kids (see below)

Our events are for women over 18 years old.  It’s our time to escape the daily grind and leave behind the endless chores and responsibilities at home for a bit of adventure and fun.

Can I Bring my husband (see above)

Can I Bring my dog?

Pets are welcome at Stuck, but we do have some rules. As it’s an event designed for humans, some activities either onsite or optional activities will preclude bringing a pet to those activities for safety or health reasons.  Please see our pet policy for more information here

Do I have to be a Member to attend?

Our Stuck In the Middle annual event is for Rolling Solo members.  You can join right away here

What is included in my Event Ticket?

    Your campsite or cabin booking. And 5 full days of …..
  • Creative Workshops: Unleash your inner artist with sessions designed to inspire.
  • Expert Talks: Learn the ins and outs of travelling and living on the road from seasoned adventurers.
  • Wellness Activities: Rejuvenate your body and mind with yoga, mindfulness sessions, and more.
  • Evening Entertainment: As the stars come out, so does the fun! Enjoy live music, storytelling, and shared laughter at our evening get togethers!

How do I get a ticket?

  • Visit our registration page here and fill out the form.
  • Once your registration has been approved you will be able to login and save your spot for the event.

Do i have to pay upfront

To confirm your booking, all tickets need to be paid for at time of checkout.  We do not have a payment plan available this year.

What if I can't make it?

If you’re not able to make it, please let the organiser know. We do not offer refunds on tickets / accommodation / optional activities – other than what is required by law.  Unfortunately we are unable to refund due to change of mind.

We strongly recommend looking into purchasing Domestic Travel Insurance to cover the dates you are planning to be on this trip… including the getting there and getting home.

We don’t wish for you to be out of pocket, should your plans change unexpectedly.
